Attractive It was initially going to be a CW series, which was the first Announced in November 2018. A pilot was shot in 2019 with Brooke Shields and Peyton List. After consideration, in June 2019, the series was not picked up and cancelled by C.W. In April 2022, the project moved to Netflix with a full serial order.
The drama series comes from Star Trek: Discovery and Quantico co-executive producer Jordan Nardino and Damon Wayans Jr.. Nardino is writing and executive producing the 10-part drama series, which is also executive produced by Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow of Two Shakes Entertainment.

Here’s a full synopsis of the new series:
“A drama revolving around Marco Mejía (Benny), a gender non-conforming high school graduate who lands the job of a lifetime as an intern at a cosmetics company whose products he criticizes on YouTube. Madolyn Addison, CEO, Entrepreneur and Founder of Glamorous Cosmetics and a former supermodel, built one of the world’s leading cosmetics companies from the ground up. However, something is happening lately. The company is not just slipping, it’s plummeting, as if it’s being sabotaged from within. Unwilling to let that happen, Madolyn hires Marco right out of high school to be her summer intern. She has a plan, she wants him to be her eyes and her ears, to make friends, and for her to find out what happens behind her back, for her to find out «what they hide and what they steal.» In return, she will teach Marco everything she knows, but she warns him, «This business isn’t all glitz and glamour, and neither is life.»

who is cast in Attractive?
Ben J Pierce, aka Miss Benny, actor, singer, and YouTuber, will reprise his role from the canceled CW pilot of Glamorous as Marco Mejia. Pierce’s other acting credits include more complete house, Guide, With love, Victorand more.

Joining Pierce as a series regular is sex and the city star kim cattrallwho will play the role of Madolyn Addison. Lisa Gilroy will play the role of Alyssasay.
Five other series regulars have also been confirmed; Ayesha Harris (The L Word: Generation Q), graham parkhurst (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) as Parker, Jade Payton (Sunrise) like Venice, zane phillips (legacies) as Chad, and michael hsu rosen (Very smart).
What is the production status of Attractive?
Thanks to weekly production we knew that pre-production had begun in May and that filming would begin several weeks later, in July 2022. At the time of the update, Attractive It is several weeks into filming, beginning on July 12, 2022. Filming lasted a few months before its scheduled completion on November 8, 2022.

The series was filmed entirely in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Numerous crews were seen filming throughout the summer with NYPD cars. According to Blogto, the series was shown «near the Bay-Adelaide Center, the same filming location used by the Suits show for its prestigious law offices.»

It has been confirmed that the first season of Netflix Attractive will have a total of ten episodes of approximately 45 minutes in length.
