It’s been about four weeks since Jake Paul’s fight against Tommy Fury, where he lost via split decision. Since then, he says he’s been «just chilling out and reflecting on life.»
Paul told Fox News Digital that he had the «worst training camp» leading up to the fight. He said he got sick twice, flights abroad took a toll on him and, to be frank, a wet dream in the middle of the night before the fight took «10%» off his in-ring performance.
She says she’s been «taking it easy» ever since, hanging out with friends and family before downing her CELSIUS energy drinks, for which she recently became a spokesperson, and hitting the gym again.

«I think it’s always powerful to take some time and see how it all plays out, what are the next steps in terms of my boxing career in all of that,» Paul said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.
That sounds strangely similar to Aaron Rodgers’ feelings after the 2022 season, doesn’t it?
The four-time NFL MVP quarterback notably went into an isolation retreat in the dark to contemplate his future, and that’s on the cards for Paul himself.
«It’s funny, I was planning to do the dark retreat at the end of this year,» Paul said.
But there’s one more wrinkle to all of this: Rodgers has been outspoken about his use of the hallucinogenic ayahuasca. Well, it turns out that Paul joined him on one of his trips.
JAKE PAUL SAYS HE CAN BE THE FACE OF BOXING: ‘I CAN CLAIM THAT PLACE FOR SURE’
«Aaron and I were together when we had ayahuasca,» Paul told Fox News Digital. «He’s more publicly known for talking about it, but I was actually there with him when we did it. We spent the week there doing it. I definitely share that similarity in terms of spirituality and reflection and delving into the deeper parts of the mind. I’ve definitely been doing some of that.»
Rodgers came out of obscurity with the decision to play for the New York Jets; the formal exchange has yet to be executed.
As for Paul, who also wears his hat as a promoter for the Professional Fighters League, he has some decisions to make about his short- and long-term future.

«It’s interesting, man, and it’s hard to say. It’s hard to say what I’m going to do. I think, for now, I’m focused on the next fight and that’s it. I think before, I’ve thought about what I’m going to do, how many fights I’m going to do, and it can be a little stressful to think about. But for me, I’m going to take it fight by fight for now and keep the passion alive with it and just see where things take me, and not focus so much on the big picture. general versus day to day is what I need to focus on.
