Derek Wolfe is clearly a wild man on and off the field.

During his playing days, the former Denver Bronco says he was back on the field two weeks after being temporarily paralyzed. A few months ago, he killed a cougar with a bow and arrow.

«Before the games, I was microdosing … I’m taking mushrooms and Aderall before I play,» he said in Joe Rogan Podcast.

The mix put Wolfe into a «runaway» approach, but he had one more trick up his sleeve that helped him become a wrecking ball on the grid.

«Dude, the fucking focus is out of control. I’d just get pissed off before games, so I’d start thinking about my childhood, all the sh*t I went through.» when i was a child And I would get into this rage mode. It was like this madly controlled anger,» he continued.

«So, Aderall, mushrooms, and childhood rage in a 280-pound savage,» Rogan replied with a smile.

Wolfe admitted that the concoctions also produced some pretty crazy word vomit.

«Just f—ing, such a jerk. Saying wild and crazy things to quarterbacks. I told a guy I was going to eat his kids. It was crazy. . . .

«That’s what you do, man. It’s a mind game. I’m trying to get into his head.»
