Seattle police have released body camera footage of their response to a «very intoxicated» woman who was found in Colorado Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin’s hotel room in April.

The footage shows police speaking with Avalanche team doctor Dr. Bradley Changstrom, who says team personnel found the woman with Nichushkin.

Changstrom said he couldn’t send the woman in an Uber «because of her safety.»

The woman allegedly punched Changstrom in the arm as he «persevered to make sure he had his identification.»

The doctor said he tried to get the woman and Nichushkin into «separate rooms,» and that she had been in or out of the room for «an hour and a half to two hours.»

Changstrom said he called 911 to let EMS handle the situation. Nichushkin was «no longer» at the hotel when police arrived, as Changstrom said he left with a member of the team’s security.

It seemed that the doctor was about to share «medical health» information with the police, but wanted to keep it confidential and the audio cut out.
