Damar Hamlin’s condition has improved at a Cincinnati hospital, according to her uncle, Dorrian Glenn.

Glenn told NFL Network Tuesday night that the Buffalo Bills safety remains in intensive care but has improved to 50 percent oxygen on a ventilator; previously it had been at 100 percent.

The 24-year-old is still sedated, but Glenn seemed optimistic about his nephew’s health.

“Right now, they put him on a ventilator, so they’re trying to get him to breathe on his own,” Glenn. told the network. «So we’re taking it day by day. Still in ICU. They’ve got him sedated, so continue to give the medical treatment you’ve been doing.»

Glenn added: «Once I get out of ICU, I’ll feel better.»

Hamlin went into cardiac arrest at 8:55 p.m. Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals after making a tackle on Tee Higgins — medical staff performed CPR for nine minutes on the field before he was taken to a local hospital.
